QUEENSTOWN/CORONET PEAK
The following morning, we were up and out of bed early as we had been heading to Coronet Peak for another day of skiing. That was the last time we went skiing that winter, and we made sure that we had fun there and that it was worth it. In my opinion, Cardrona is and was way better than Coronet Peak. Coronet Peak had a lot of people and was more crowded than Cardrona. The snow was better in Cardrona than in Coronet Peak. At Coronet Peak, we experienced better views than Cardrona, but Cardrona had better snow. Like the day before, we started easy at the beginners’ course to get used to our surroundings and start to practice. Later, we found an easy track but just using lifts. This track wasn’t too complex, and it had some ramps we could use to practice jumps and learn more new skills to practice on and off the snow. After we had fun in the snow, we had to celebrate an important celebration. My parents’ anniversary. That was their 15th anniversary, and we celebrated it at Finz. Finz was a fine dining restaurant that focused mostly on seafood, and its platters were delicious. After we had eaten our food and given out gifts, we went home and had a rest from a long day.
