In the Kiwi room, we like to make things together. We believe that through team work, tamariki can learn how to work collaboratively.
So today, for our Whānau night event, we decided to create a ‘backdrop’ for our special night. As one of our songs on the night was the ‘Rainbow song’, we decided to draw a rainbow.
I started to make the outline of the rainbow and the writing part, then some of the children came and helped to finish this project.
Then all the children drew themselves and put it on this backdrop.
Thank you very much to all the children that worked very hard to make this event successful.
